Feels good to cry again

I stopped taking citalopram 1 week ago cold turkey after 60mg/day for three months. Today I cried again. It actually felt kinda good. I was watching the Teboing/Chemoing story on ESPN and had full on tears running down my cheeks. I think maybe we are supposed to let it out and not supress it with drugs. I have allways self medicated with alchohol and I need to quit it and deal with life.

So I say. It may not sound manly but, Go ahaead and cry.
As long as you are not going to hurt yourself then go ahead and feel your emotions. I think thats what they are there for.

How did you get off celexa cold turkey? I've been off for 2 days I was only on 20mg daily and I feel horrible!! I've got those "brain zaps" and nausea also I feel real spacey. If you've had any of these side effects how long do they last??? I'm getting panicky just thinking about how long they will last
